Advanced Process Solutions of California is an independently owned and operated California company. We are dedicated to providing the most up to date and cost effective post harvest solutions for bettering the quality of fresh fruit, vegetable, and floral commodities. Our clients include growers, packers, shippers, distribution centers, and retail outlets. 

We have been involved in the business of modifying Ethylene in ripening, storage, and retail industries for over 15 years. 

The company, while originally started by Jerald "Jerry" Achterberg in the 1980's in response to an absence of qualified manufacturers is now owned and operated by Jerald "Christopher" Achterberg, his son. Jerry is still on board in sales and consulting and Chris handles the day to day operations, equipment design, and installations.

While the primary ownership and name has changed, pride in workmanship, attention to detail, and a sincere desire to provide the customer with the best possible service and information is the same. We strive to meet every expectation placed upon us by using the latest available technology and attending satellite training seminars to maintain our position as the most knowledgeable and informed company in the industry.

We have been undergoing some changes lately with the addition of our new website. We are now selling Humidifier Systems, Foggers, Ethylene Scrubbers/Filters and Sachets, and Ozone Generators in addition to our tried and proven Cylinder Based Ethylene Administration Systems which can yield our customers a substantial savings over older and outdated equipment. We are also authorized distributors of Kitagawa branded products and are proud to announce that we can supply you with all of your testing supplies such as Colorimetric Tubes and Pumps at substantially lower prices then our competitors. Dealer inquiries are currently be accepted.
